- Lead cross-functional teams in developing future-proof business models and disruption mitigation strategies
- Conduct horizon scanning for geopolitical, regulatory, and market shifts affecting 2026 landscape
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders and board members
- Drive R&D investments in exponential technologies with 5-10 year payback horizons
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and innovation labs
- Monitor competitor innovation trajectories and identify first-mover opportunities
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Technology Strategy, Futures Studies, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in innovation strategy, corporate foresight, or emerging technology roles
- Proven track record developing 5+ year strategic roadmaps for Fortune 500 companies
- Deep expertise in at least two exponential technologies (quantum computing, AR/VR, etc.)
- Exceptional systems thinking and scenario planning capabilities
- Strong financial modeling for long-term R&D investments
