Responsibilities
- Architect and execute innovation roadmaps targeting 2026 market disruptions
- Lead cross-functional teams (AI, IoT, Quantum Computing, Biotech) in prototyping next-gen solutions
- Identify emerging tech trends and translate them into commercial opportunities
- Secure strategic partnerships with academic institutions and industry pioneers
- Present innovation frameworks to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Maintain competitive intelligence through global tech ecosystem analysis
- Manage $2M+ annual R&D budget for experimental initiatives
Qualifications
- 10+ years in tech innovation or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of scaling breakthrough technologies from concept to market
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI/ML, Quantum, AR/VR, etc.)
- Experience with agile development and rapid prototyping methodologies
- Strong financial acumen for innovation portfolio management
- PhD or equivalent in STEM field preferred
- Published thought leadership in innovation or future-tech journals
- Fluency in future scenario planning and strategic foresight frameworks
