Responsibilities
- Architect and execute the 2026 innovation roadmap, aligning with long-term business objectives
- Lead ideation sessions for next-gen technologies (quantum computing, biotech fusion, AI ethics)
- Manage $5M+ annual innovation budget across 12+ concurrent projects
- Build and mentor a high-performance team of futurists, engineers, and product strategists
- Establish KPIs for measuring 2026-readiness of emerging technologies
- Forge strategic partnerships with Silicon Valley labs and global research institutions
- Present quarterly innovation progress to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Develop patent strategies for proprietary 2026-vision technologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology innovation or venture development with proven impact
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum, neurotech, climate AI)
- Track record scaling innovations from concept to market (>$100M ARR preferred)
- Advanced degree in STEM field or equivalent industry disruption experience
- Deep network within Silicon Valley's innovation ecosystem
- Experience leading remote global teams across 3+ time zones
- Published thought leadership on future technologies (Harvard/MIT/Stanford a plus)
- Fluency in scenario planning methodologies and futures forecasting tools
