Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 technology innovation roadmap aligned with market trends and company vision
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping breakthrough solutions for emerging tech domains
- Establish strategic partnerships with research institutions and industry pioneers
- Drive adoption of AI-driven development methodologies across product lifecycle
- Identify and evaluate disruptive technologies with 2026 commercialization potential
- Present innovation strategies to executive stakeholders and investors
- Mentor a team of 5-7 innovation specialists in emerging technologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in tech innovation or R&D leadership with proven 2026+ tech roadmaps
- Expertise in at least two of: AI/ML, quantum computing, biotech, or climate tech
- Track record of launching products that achieved $50M+ market impact
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Strong network within Austin's tech ecosystem and global innovation communities
- Proficiency in agile methodologies and rapid prototyping frameworks
- Experience securing $10M+ in innovation funding or grants
- Certification in Strategic Innovation Management preferred
