Responsibilities
- Conduct horizon scanning for emerging technologies and societal trends through 2026
- Develop strategic foresight frameworks for C-suite decision-making
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align innovation priorities
- Author annual 'Future State' whitepapers for industry stakeholders
- Identify investment opportunities in next-generation technologies
- Build scenario models for potential market disruptions
- Advise product development teams on future-proofing strategies
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Technology Forecasting, or related field
- 5+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Published work on future technology or societal trends (2020-2025)
- Expertise in systems thinking and scenario planning methodologies
- Proficiency in trend analysis tools (e.g., Trend Hunter, Gartner Hype Cycle)
- Experience with AI/ML, quantum computing, or biotech convergence
- Strong network with futurist communities (WFS, APF)
