Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 2026+ technology roadmaps aligning with market trends and organizational objectives
- Conduct horizon-scanning research on emerging technologies (quantum, neuromorphic, synthetic biology)
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype future-facing solutions
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and industry disruptors
- Present technology forecasts and strategic recommendations to executive leadership
- Drive adoption of agile futures methodologies across engineering divisions
- Monitor geopolitical and regulatory shifts impacting long-term tech strategy
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning with 5+ years in futures/foresight roles
- Proven track record of commercializing emerging technologies
- Expertise in at least two of: AI governance, quantum applications, or climate-tech
- Advanced degree in Technology, Innovation Management, or related field
- Certification in Futures Thinking (e.g., CFTE, APF) preferred
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts to diverse stakeholders
- Portfolio demonstrating technology foresight projects with measurable impact
