Responsibilities
- Conduct horizon-scanning research across AI, biotech, climate tech, and space exploration to identify 2026-2030 inflection points
- Develop scenario-based strategic frameworks for board-level decision-making
- Lead cross-functional 'Future Labs' with engineers, designers, and domain experts
- Translate foresight into product roadmaps and go-to-market strategies
- Present trend analyses to Fortune 500 partners and at global innovation forums
- Build and maintain a proprietary '2026 Trend Matrix' with quantitative/qualitative metrics
- Mentor junior futurists and establish industry thought leadership
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in strategy consulting, corporate innovation, or tech R&D
- Proven track record of developing 5+ year strategic roadmaps for Fortune 500 companies
- Expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and systemic thinking frameworks
- Published thought leadership on emerging technologies or future economies
- Proficiency in foresight tools (e.g., Delphi method, STEEP analysis, horizon scanning)
- Experience leading cross-functional teams with 15+ members
