Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging tech, socio-economic, and geopolitical trends to forecast 2026+ market landscapes
- Develop and communicate future scenarios to guide strategic planning and investment decisions
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align stakeholders on long-term innovation priorities
- Author thought leadership reports and whitepapers on disruptive forces shaping 2026
- Partner with R&D to translate future insights into product roadmaps and IP strategy
- Monitor and evaluate competitive positioning in future-focused markets
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists, academics, and industry pioneers
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in strategy consulting, innovation, or futurism with Fortune 500 experience
- Proven track record of developing and implementing future-oriented strategic frameworks
- Expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and horizon scanning methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum, biotech) and societal implications
- Exceptional storytelling skills with executive-level presentation experience
- Certification in strategic foresight (e.g., CFAP from Association of Professional Futurists)
