Responsibilities
- Conduct horizon-scanning research to identify and analyze emerging technologies, socioeconomic shifts, and disruptive market forces through 2026
- Develop and implement forward-looking strategic frameworks that align organizational capabilities with future opportunities
- Lead cross-functional workshops to build consensus around long-term vision scenarios and risk mitigation pathways
- Produce high-impact foresight reports and executive briefings translating complex trends into strategic imperatives
- Establish partnerships with innovation labs, academic institutions, and futurist networks to maintain competitive intelligence edge
- Champion agile experimentation initiatives to test and validate future-focused business models
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futuristics, Strategy, Technology, Economics, or related field (PhD/Master's preferred)
- Minimum 7 years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or future-oriented leadership roles
- Proven expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and systemic disruption modeling
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and their societal implications
- Exceptional storytelling and visualization skills to communicate complex futures to diverse stakeholders
- Portfolio demonstrating successful strategic initiatives launched from foresight insights
- Certification in Futures Studies or related foresight methodology (e.g., CFM, CFP) required
