Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a comprehensive 2026 strategic foresight framework using scenario planning and horizon scanning
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype future-facing solutions in quantum computing and neurotech
- Establish partnerships with MIT Media Lab, Singularity University, and other future-focused institutions
- Present visionary roadmaps to executive stakeholders and board members with data-backed projections
- Curate the annual 'Future Forward' summit featuring Nobel laureates and Silicon Valley pioneers
- Oversee the FutureWorks Innovation Lab with $50M annual R&D budget
- Author thought leadership pieces published in Harvard Business Review and Wired
Qualifications
- PhD in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or equivalent experience with 10+ years in strategic foresight
- Proven track record of scaling startups through technological disruption cycles
- Expertise in exponential technologies (quantum, AGI, synthetic biology) and their societal implications
- Published author in future-focused publications with 500+ citations
- Fluency in strategic forecasting methodologies (Delphi, causal layered analysis)
- Experience advising Fortune 500 companies on 10-year transformation roadmaps
- Portfolio demonstrating at least three commercialized future-shaping initiatives
