Responsibilities
- Conduct horizon-scanning research to identify disruptive technologies with 5-10 year impact
- Develop strategic frameworks for integrating future innovations into business models

- Author forward-looking whitepapers and thought leadership content for industry conferences
- Partner with R&D teams to prototype next-generation solutions
- Establish global networks with futurists, academics, and venture capitalists
- Present strategic recommendations to the board of directors
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Technology Strategy, or related field
- 7+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI/ML, synthetic biology, quantum computing)
- Proven track record of publishing future-focused research or thought leadership
- Exceptional systems thinking and scenario modeling capabilities
- Experience advising C-suite executives on long-term technology adoption
- Fluency in foresight methodologies (Delphi, STEEP analysis, cross-impact matrices)
- Portfolio demonstrating prediction accuracy of major technological shifts
