Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging tech trajectories (quantum, AI ethics, biotech convergence) to identify 2026 market opportunities
- Develop cross-functional innovation roadmaps aligning with corporate sustainability goals
- Lead scenario-planning workshops for C-suite executives on future disruption risks
- Partner with R&D to prototype next-gen solutions in our quantum-AI hybrid lab
- Author annual 'State of 2026' white papers positioning company as thought leader
- Mentor junior futurists through our Future Leaders Academy
- Secure strategic partnerships with academic institutions (MIT, Stanford, ETH Zurich)
Qualifications
- 15+ years in strategic planning with 5+ in futurism or emerging tech
- Published research on 2020s tech disruption (peer-reviewed journals preferred)
- Deep expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, AI governance, or climate tech
- Experience developing multi-year innovation roadmaps for Fortune 500 companies
- Proven track record of translating foresight into commercialized solutions
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or equivalent
- Certified Futurist (CF) designation preferred
- Fluency in Python, R, or data visualization tools for trend analysis
