Responsibilities
- Analyze macroeconomic shifts, technological disruptions, and societal evolutions to build 2026 strategic roadmaps
- Develop scenario-planning frameworks for climate resilience, AI governance, and human augmentation
- Lead cross-functional sprints to prototype future-proof solutions in quantum computing and bio-integration
- Author white papers and keynote presentations at global forums (Davos, CES, etc.)
- Mentor junior futurists and establish industry partnerships with MIT, Stanford, and NASA
- Design ethics-by-default protocols for autonomous systems and neural interfaces
- Secure $5M+ in innovation grants for future-focused initiatives
Qualifications
- PhD in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or equivalent experience with 7+ years in strategic foresight
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed journals (e.g., Journal of Futures Studies)
- Proficiency in horizon scanning tools (e.g., Delphi method, causal layered analysis)
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ future-proofed products/services launched since 2020
- Expertise in quantum computing, neurotech, or climate modeling ecosystems
- Fluency in Mandarin and/or Arabic for global stakeholder engagement
- Experience securing federal innovation grants (SBIR/STTR)
