Responsibilities
- Analyze global megatrends (AI ethics, climate resilience, quantum computing) to map 2026+ technological trajectories
- Develop scenario-based strategic roadmaps for emerging technologies (neuromorphic chips, synthetic biology, decentralized networks)
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align R&D priorities with future market demands
- Produce foresight reports and predictive models for executive decision-making
- Identify disruptive startups and emerging technologies for strategic partnerships
- Represent the company at global futurist conferences and industry summits
- Mentor junior analysts in futures research methodologies and trend analysis
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Technology Forecasting, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Minimum 5 years experience in strategic foresight, emerging tech analysis, or innovation consulting
- Expertise in trend analysis frameworks (e.g., STEEP, Delphi method, horizon scanning)
- Published thought leadership on disruptive technologies or future scenarios
- Proficiency in data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI) and predictive modeling
- Deep knowledge of 2026-specific domains: AGI ethics, climate tech, neuro interfaces
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts to diverse audiences
