Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technologies (quantum computing, biotech, AI) and societal trends to forecast 2026+ market landscapes
- Develop strategic frameworks for product innovation and market entry in future-facing industries
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align stakeholders on long-term vision and execution plans
- Partner with R&D teams to prototype solutions for anticipated future challenges
- Produce forward-looking reports and presentations for executive leadership and board members
- Monitor global innovation ecosystems and identify strategic partnership opportunities
- Establish KPIs for future-readiness and track progress against strategic milestones
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Technology Strategy, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or emerging tech analysis
- Proven track record of developing and implementing future-focused strategies
- Expertise in trend analysis methodologies (horizon scanning, scenario planning)
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies and their societal implications
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to translate complex concepts
- Experience presenting to C-suite executives and board members
- Portfolio demonstrating successful future-shaping initiatives
