- Lead cross-functional workshops to embed future-thinking into product development cycles
- Establish KPIs to track predictive model accuracy and strategic initiative success
- Represent the company at global futurist forums and industry summits
- Mentor junior analysts in horizon scanning methodologies and trend analysis
- Oversee development of proprietary AI-powered trend forecasting tools
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in strategic planning with Fortune 500 or high-growth tech companies
- Published thought leadership on emerging technologies (AI, quantum, biotech)
- Proficiency in scenario planning frameworks (e.g., STEEP, Delphi method)
- Experience with predictive analytics tools and data visualization platforms
- Exceptional presentation skills with executive audiences
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ successful long-term strategic implementations
- Fluency in future-relevant languages (Spanish, Mandarin, or Arabic)
