Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive 2026+ strategic foresight framework using horizon scanning, scenario planning, and trend analysis
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype solutions for emerging societal and technological challenges
- Author high-impact thought leadership reports and executive presentations on disruptive forces shaping 2026
- Partner with R&D to align product roadmaps with long-term market evolution and societal needs
- Establish and nurture a global network of futurists, technologists, and academic pioneers
- Quantify future market opportunities through predictive modeling and scenario stress-testing
- Champion ethical innovation principles in all strategic planning processes
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Technology Innovation, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or future-focused leadership role
- Proven expertise in horizon scanning, scenario planning, and trend analysis methodologies
- Deep understanding of emerging technologies (AI, quantum, biotech, neurotech) and societal implications
- Exceptional storytelling skills to translate complex futures into compelling narratives for stakeholders
- Experience leading cross-functional teams through ambiguous, future-oriented challenges
- Published thought leadership in foresight or innovation publications
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ major future-strategy implementations
