Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging tech trends (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and forecast their societal/economic impact by 2026
- Design strategic roadmaps for future-proofing organizational operations and product development
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align stakeholders on long-term vision and innovation priorities
- Develop predictive models for market shifts and regulatory changes in the 2025-2027 timeframe
- Partner with R&D teams to prototype solutions for future challenges (e.g., climate adaptation, workforce transformation)
- Present insights to executive leadership and board members through compelling data visualizations
- Author thought leadership publications on future-focused business strategies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Technology Management, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 7+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or tech trend analysis
- Proven expertise in scenario planning and trend analysis methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies and their disruptive potential
- Exceptional communication skills with experience presenting to executive audiences
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation journals
- Certification in foresight methodologies (e.g., from Association of Professional Futurists)
- Portfolio demonstrating complex future-mapping projects
