Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technological trends (AI, quantum computing, biotech) to develop 2026-2030 strategic roadmaps
- Lead cross-functional workshops to forecast market disruptions and competitive threats
- Partner with product teams to integrate future-ready innovations into current development pipelines
- Present strategic foresight reports to executive stakeholders and board members
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists, academics, and industry pioneers
- Develop scenario-planning models for geopolitical and technological black swan events
- Mentor junior strategists in futures-thinking methodologies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Strategic Foresight, Technology Forecasting, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Minimum 8 years experience in corporate strategy, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of successfully forecasting market trends (portfolio of published reports required)
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging technology domains (e.g., AGI, synthetic biology, quantum)
- Exceptional data modeling and scenario-planning skills with advanced analytical tools
- Experience presenting to C-suite audiences and influencing strategic decisions
- Portfolio demonstrating original future-shaping initiatives or thought leadership
