As a key member of our Global Innovation Lab, you'll work alongside Nobel laureates and industry pioneers to decode technological convergence signals, identify paradigm shifts, and guide our R&D roadmap toward 2030 and beyond. You'll lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-generation experiences while maintaining a pulse on sociotechnical evolution.
Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging tech trends (quantum computing, neuro-interfaces, synthetic biology) to map 5-10 year innovation horizons
- Develop strategic foresight frameworks for board-level decision-making on billion-dollar investments
- Lead 'Future Scenarios' workshops with Fortune 500 partners to co-create 2026 technology roadmaps
- Author white papers and keynote presentations at Davos, CES, and MIT Tech Review Summits
- Manage a $50M innovation portfolio with 15+ concurrent R&D projects
- Mentor PhD fellows in future studies through our Stanford partnership program
Qualifications
- PhD in Futures Studies, Systems Theory, or equivalent with 10+ years in strategic innovation
- Published author in Nature Futures or similar peer-reviewed foresight journals
- Proven track record of commercializing emerging technologies (portfolio of 3+ unicorn ventures)
- Expertise in converging technologies (AI, biotech, quantum, space tech) regulatory landscapes
- Fluency in Mandarin, Arabic, and Spanish for global stakeholder engagement
- Proficiency in foresight tools (Horizon Scanning, Delphi, System Dynamics Modeling)
- Previous experience at SpaceX, DeepMind, or equivalent frontier-tech organization
