Responsibilities
- Develop and implement the 2026 Strategic Innovation Framework using predictive analytics and trend forecasting
- Lead cross-functional 'FutureSprint' teams to prototype breakthrough technologies (quantum applications, neuromorphic AI, climate tech)
- Establish industry-first partnerships with quantum computing startups and academic research institutes
- Present quarterly 'Horizon Reports' to C-suite and board members, translating complex futures into actionable roadmaps
- Drive the 'FutureReady' employee program, upskilling 500+ staff in emerging technologies
- Oversee $15M innovation budget allocation for moonshot projects with 3-year ROI validation
- Author thought leadership pieces for publications like MIT Technology Review and FutureScout Journal
Qualifications
- Master's or PhD in Futures Studies, Technology Forecasting, or related field with 8+ years in strategic innovation
- Proven track record of launching at least two market-defining technologies (quantum/AI/sustainability focus)
- Deep expertise in scenario planning, Delphi methodology, and horizon scanning frameworks
- Experience with venture capital due diligence and emerging tech patent strategy
- Exceptional executive communication skills with ability to simplify complex futures for diverse stakeholders
- Published research in futures technology or peer-reviewed innovation journals
- Proficiency in Python/R for trend analysis and simulation modeling
- Fluency in at least two of: Mandarin, German, or Japanese for global collaboration
