Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026-2030 corporate futurism strategy with measurable impact on R&D pipeline
- Lead a dedicated team of futurists, data scientists, and domain experts in horizon scanning and trend analysis
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and government bodies for collaborative innovation
- Translate complex future scenarios into actionable business plans for product development
- Deliver keynote presentations at global tech summits representing company thought leadership
- Oversee incubation of moonshot projects with potential $1B+ market disruption
- Integrate ethical foresight frameworks into all long-term decision-making processes
Qualifications
- 15+ years in strategic foresight, R&D leadership, or emerging technology commercialization
- Proven track record of launching at least two paradigm-shifting products/services
- Deep expertise in at least three of: quantum computing, synthetic biology, AGI governance, or neurotech
- Published author or keynote speaker at premier futurism/tech conferences
- Advanced degree in relevant field (PhD/MSc preferred) with peer-reviewed research
- Experience securing >$50M in innovation funding or government grants
- Portfolio demonstrating 5+ years of accurate future trend forecasting
