Responsibilities
- Develop 2026 technology roadmaps through horizon scanning and trend analysis
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate future scenarios into actionable strategies
- Partner with R&D teams to prototype breakthrough solutions for climate resilience and human augmentation
- Present findings to C-suite executives and external stakeholders via compelling data visualizations
- Manage innovation pipeline with OKRs aligned to UN Sustainable Development Goals
- Curate ecosystem partnerships with academic institutions and government innovation labs
- Produce annual FutureState 2026 report for industry-wide dissemination
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation management, or emerging tech leadership
- Proven track record executing multi-year technology transformation programs
- Deep expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, synthetic biology, or neurotech
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or related field
- Published thought leadership on 2026+ technological implications (e.g., in Nature Futures or MIT Tech Review)
- Certification in Futures Thinking (e.g., from University of Houston Futures program)
- Experience scaling agile methodologies for long-term R&D initiatives
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ industry-disrupting innovations launched post-2020
