Responsibilities
- Anticipate and analyze emerging technologies (quantum computing, synthetic biology, AGI) and societal shifts through horizon scanning
- Develop scenario-planning frameworks for 2026 market conditions and competitive landscapes
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype next-gen solutions
- Author thought leadership publications and deliver keynote presentations at global forums
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and innovation labs
- Translate foresight insights into actionable business strategies for executive leadership
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Technology Forecasting, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 7+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of developing accurate long-term technology trend models
- Expertise in scenario planning, Delphi methodology, and systems thinking
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (blockchain, AI, biotech)
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts to diverse stakeholders
- Portfolio of published futurism work or innovation frameworks
