Responsibilities
- Lead horizon-scanning initiatives to identify and validate disruptive technologies and market shifts through 2026
- Develop and publish annual 'Future State' reports forecasting industry transformations and strategic implications
- Architect cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype solutions for emerging societal and business challenges
- Partner with product teams to integrate foresight insights into 24-month product roadmaps
- Build and manage an ecosystem of futurists, academic institutions, and venture partners for trend validation
- Present strategic futures briefings to executive stakeholders and board members
- Lead workshops on scenario planning and risk mitigation for uncertain futures
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Foresight, Strategic Innovation, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of publishing future-focused research or trend analysis
- Deep expertise in exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech)
- Exceptional data synthesis and scenario modeling capabilities
- Experience facilitating executive-level futures planning sessions
- Portfolio of published foresight work or innovation frameworks
- Strong understanding of global geopolitical and socioeconomic trends
