Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 2026 innovation roadmaps integrating AI, biotech, and quantum computing breakthroughs
- Lead horizon scanning initiatives to identify disruptive technologies with 3-5 year market impact
- Translate foresight into product development frameworks for C-suite stakeholders
- Manage cross-functional teams of engineers, designers, and domain experts
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and innovation hubs
- Present future scenarios to investors and board members to secure R&D funding
- Author thought leadership publications on emerging technology ethics and governance
Qualifications
- 10+ years in innovation strategy, R&D leadership, or futurism roles
- Proven track record translating technology foresight into commercialized solutions
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI/ML, quantum, synthetic biology)
- Executive presence with experience presenting to C-level audiences and investors
- Advanced degree in technology, engineering, futures studies, or related field
- Published work in tech foresight or innovation strategy (white papers, patents, books)
- Proficiency in scenario planning tools and trend analysis methodologies
- Experience scaling innovation programs from concept to market launch
