Responsibilities
- Develop and publish annual 2026 horizon scanning reports on tech, climate, and socio-economic trends
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate future scenarios into client innovation roadmaps
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic labs (MIT, Stanford) and emerging tech startups
- Design and oversee pilot programs for quantum-secure AI systems and climate-adaptive infrastructure
- Present foresight findings to C-suite executives at industry summits and board retreats
- Mentor a team of futurists and data scientists using scenario modeling and predictive analytics
- Author thought leadership pieces for publications like Wired and MIT Technology Review
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven expertise in scenario planning and technology roadmapping for 2025-2030 horizons
- Published work on AI ethics, climate tech, or human augmentation trends
- Experience with Delphi methods, causal layered analysis, and horizon scanning frameworks
- Deep understanding of quantum computing, synthetic biology, and decentralized systems
- Exceptional communication skills with executive audiences and diverse stakeholders
- Portfolio of successful future-proofing initiatives for global enterprises
