Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 5-year technology roadmaps for quantum-AI hybrid systems
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-gen sustainable tech solutions
- Establish ethical frameworks for autonomous decision-making algorithms
- Identify emerging tech disruptions and create mitigation/adoption strategies
- Secure $10M+ in R&D funding through innovation grants and partnerships
- Present strategic visions to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Mentor junior researchers in future technology methodologies
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Quantum Physics, or related field
- 8+ years in strategic technology planning at Fortune 500 or unicorn startups
- Published research in Nature/Science on AI or quantum computing
- Proven track record securing $5M+ in government/private R&D funding
- Expertise in emerging tech: quantum machine learning, neuro-symbolic AI, climate tech
- Deep understanding of ethical AI governance frameworks (EU AI Act, NIST)
- Experience with patent portfolio development for disruptive technologies
