Responsibilities

- Analyze emerging tech trends to identify $100M+ market opportunities
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping and validating next-gen solutions
- Forge strategic partnerships with Fortune 500 companies and academic institutions
- Present technology forecasts to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Secure $5M+ annual R&D funding through compelling investment proposals
- Mentor junior strategists in future-scoping methodologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy or R&D leadership
- Proven track record in commercializing emerging technologies
- Expertise in at least two of: AI, quantum computing, synthetic biology, or nanotech
- Experience with scenario planning and horizon scanning frameworks
- Advanced degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
- Published research in IEEE/Nature journals preferred
- Strong network with Silicon Valley innovation ecosystems
- Certification in Technology Foresight or Strategic Innovation Management
