Responsibilities
- Develop 2026-2030 technology roadmaps aligning with market disruption forecasts
- Analyze emerging tech trends (quantum AI, neuromorphic computing, biotech interfaces)
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate future scenarios into actionable initiatives
- Partner with VCs and research institutions to scout breakthrough innovations
- Design scenario-planning frameworks for geopolitical and regulatory shifts
- Present strategic insights to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Mentor junior futurists in analytical methodologies
Qualifications
- 5+ years in strategic planning or technology consulting
- Proven expertise in forecasting methodologies (Delphi, horizon scanning)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Economics, or Futures Studies
- Deep understanding of emerging tech ecosystems (blockchain, AGI, climate tech)
- Experience with scenario planning tools (STEEP analysis, causal layered analysis)
- Strong data visualization and narrative storytelling capabilities
- Published thought leadership in tech futurism or innovation strategy
- Certification in Foresight or Strategic Foresight preferred
