Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technology trends (2026 horizon) and assess commercial viability for market disruption
- Develop comprehensive technology roadmaps aligned with 5-year strategic objectives
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with R&D, product, and engineering teams
- Establish strategic partnerships with quantum computing startups and AI research labs
- Conduct competitive intelligence analysis on next-gen tech adoption patterns
- Present technology forecasts and recommendations to the executive board
- Drive ethical framework implementation for AI and biotechnology deployments
- Mentor junior futurists on technology forecasting methodologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, innovation management, or emerging tech roles
- Deep expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, synthetic biology, neuromorphic chips, or decentralized AI
- Proven success in launching enterprise-level technology transformation initiatives
- Certified Futurist (CF) or equivalent strategic foresight certification preferred
- Exceptional data storytelling skills with experience presenting to C-level audiences
- Published thought leadership in technology forecasting or innovation journals
- Experience working with regulatory bodies on ethical tech governance frameworks
- Fluency in at least one programming language (Python/R preferred)
