Responsibilities
- Develop 2026+ technology adoption roadmaps for quantum, bio-integrated systems, and ambient computing
- Lead cross-functional workshops with engineers, designers, and futurists
- Conduct horizon scanning for emerging technologies with 3-5 year market impact
- Author strategic briefs for C-suite on disruptive tech implications
- Partner with VCs to identify and evaluate 2026-era startups
- Present at global tech forums (Web Summit, CES, etc.)
- Build internal 'future tech' incubation programs
Qualifications
- 10+ years in tech strategy, R&D, or innovation management
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum, AI, biotech, etc.)
- Proven track record of commercializing futuristic technologies
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futures Studies
- Published thought leadership in IEEE, Nature, or HBR
- Experience with scenario planning and technology forecasting
- Deep network in Silicon Valley and global tech ecosystems
- Exceptional communication for technical and non-technical audiences
