Responsibilities
- Front Desk Management: Greet all patients and visitors warmly and professionally upon arrival, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere.
- Communication Hub: Answer incoming calls with a polite and efficient demeanor, screening and routing them to the appropriate staff members.
- Administrative Support: Manage incoming mail, process faxes, and handle general correspondence during weekend hours.
- Scheduling Assistance: Assist with basic patient check-in procedures, updating records, and verifying insurance information.
- Office Maintenance: Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked reception area to uphold our professional standards.
- Problem Solving: Address patient inquiries or concerns immediately and escalate complex issues to the floor manager or nursing staff.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience as a receptionist, front desk assistant, or in a customer service role is preferred.
- Availability: Must be available to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday) on a consistent basis.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and ability to learn new medical software quickly.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a focus on customer service.
- Professionalism: A neat, professional appearance and a positive, energetic attitude.
- Organization: Strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask effectively in a busy office environment.
