Responsibilities
- Manage incoming calls, emails, and in-person inquiries with exceptional professionalism
- Schedule and confirm patient appointments using our EMR system (Epic experience preferred)
- Verify insurance information and collect co-payments accurately
- Maintain organized reception area with brochures and informational materials
- Coordinate with clinical staff to ensure seamless patient flow
- Process incoming/outgoing mail and deliveries
- Assist with basic administrative tasks as needed
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year receptionist or customer service experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel)
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced healthcare environment
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Basic medical terminology knowledge preferred
- Positive attitude with problem-solving abilities
- Reliable transportation to downtown Detroit location
