Responsibilities
- Manage daily office operations including scheduling, correspondence, and record-keeping
- Coordinate community outreach programs and maintain stakeholder databases
- Prepare reports, presentations, and official documents using Microsoft Office Suite
- Handle confidential information with discretion and maintain data security protocols
- Assist with event logistics and community meeting preparations
- Serve as primary point of contact for residents and partner organizations
- Process invoices, expense reports, and budget tracking
- Support HR functions including onboarding and documentation
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate's degree preferred
- Minimum 2 years administrative support experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational abilities with attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of Detroit community resources a plus
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
