Responsibilities
- Accurately enter, update, and maintain digital records using proprietary databases
- Manage appointment scheduling and calendar coordination for department heads
- Process and distribute incoming/outgoing mail and correspondence
- Assist with document preparation including reports, forms, and presentations
- Provide exceptional customer service via phone and in-person inquiries
- Organize and maintain filing systems (physical and digital)
- Support departmental projects with data compilation and analysis
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year proven data entry experience with 10,000+ keystrokes per minute
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word)
- High school diploma or equivalent; college coursework preferred
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Strong organizational skills with ability to prioritize multiple tasks
- Basic knowledge of local government operations preferred
