As the Office Manager, you will be the backbone of our daily operations, ensuring our office runs efficiently while fostering a positive culture for employees and visitors alike. You will play a critical role in supporting our executive leadership and managing the day-to-day administrative functions of the organization.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily administrative operations of the Houston office to ensure a smooth workflow and high efficiency.
- Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts for office supplies, maintenance, and services to ensure cost-effectiveness.
- Schedule and coordinate internal and external meetings, including booking conference rooms, preparing agendas, and setting up audio-visual equipment.
- Maintain office inventory and manage the reception area to ensure a professional and welcoming environment for all guests.
- Assist with basic HR duties, including onboarding new hires, maintaining employee records, and coordinating employee engagement activities.
- Prepare monthly expense reports and manage the office budget for operational costs.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for facility issues and resolve them promptly to minimize downtime.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of proven experience in an office management or administrative support role.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word) and experience with CRM software.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a professional demeanor.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a busy environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s degree or certification in Business Administration is preferred.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a cross-functional team.
