Responsibilities
- Front Desk Management: Answer incoming calls and greet patients and visitors professionally, maintaining a calm and welcoming atmosphere during evening hours.
- Administrative Support: Handle check-ins, manage patient data entry, verify insurance information, and ensure all paperwork is accurately filed.
- Security & Safety: Monitor building access, perform security sweeps at designated intervals, and ensure the facility is secure for staff and patients.
- Communication: Relay messages between departments, coordinate with on-call staff, and ensure all night operations run smoothly.
- Inventory & Supplies: Monitor office supplies and inventory levels, placing orders as needed to ensure the front desk is fully stocked.
- Issue Resolution: Address patient inquiries or concerns efficiently and escalate complex issues to the on-duty supervisor immediately.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience as a receptionist or in a customer service role is preferred; night shift experience is a plus.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a professional phone manner.
- Technology: Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and electronic medical record systems (EMR).
- Reliability: Demonstrated ability to work independently and maintain a high level of punctuality and attendance.
- Professionalism: Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to remain courteous and composed in a fast-paced environment.
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
