As the first point of contact for patients, visitors, and staff after hours, you'll handle high-volume call routing, appointment management, and administrative tasks with precision. Responsibilities
- Manage multi-line phone systems, triaging calls and messages efficiently
- Process patient check-ins/check-outs using Epic EHR systems
- Schedule appointments and maintain accurate patient records
- Coordinate with clinical teams for urgent after-hours requests
- Process insurance verifications and collect copayments
- Prepare daily reports and maintain office supplies inventory
- Ensure HIPAA compliance at all times
- Assist with emergency protocols during off-hours
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; medical office certification preferred
- Minimum 2 years front desk/reception experience
- Proficiency with EHR systems (Epic/Meditech) and MS Office
- Exceptional communication and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to multitask in high-pressure situations
- Basic medical terminology knowledge
- Flexible schedule availability (nights, weekends, holidays)
- Valid Oklahoma driver's license
