- Manage high-volume patient check-ins and appointments during evening shifts
- Accurately enter and update patient data in EMR systems with 99% precision
- Handle incoming calls and triage emergency situations according to protocols
- Coordinate with medical staff and security teams for after-hours coverage
- Maintain secure patient records and confidentiality standards
- Process insurance verification and billing documentation
- Prepare end-of-shift reports for day transition
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year experience in medical reception or data entry
- Proficiency in EMR/EHR systems (Epic preferred)
- Exceptional typing speed (45+ WPM) and 10-key accuracy
- Strong problem-solving skills during high-pressure scenarios
- Valid Ohio Driver's License for potential after-hours transport
- Flexibility to work 11 PM - 7 AM schedule including weekends
- CPR certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days
- Experience with HIPAA compliance protocols
