- Manage high-volume phone lines and patient inquiries during overnight hours
- Coordinate patient check-in/check-out processes with precision and empathy
- Maintain secure patient records and confidential documentation
- Oversee facility access control and security protocols
- Collaborate with clinical staff for urgent patient needs and transfers
- Process insurance verifications and billing documentation
- Manage office supplies and equipment maintenance
- Prepare daily operational reports for morning shift handover
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years experience in front desk/reception roles
- Strong proficiency with EMR systems (Epic/Meditech preferred)
- Exceptional communication and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to multitask in fast-paced healthcare environments
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and scheduling software
- Valid Massachusetts driver's license (required for facility errands)
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
