Responsibilities
- Manage front desk operations during night shift, including patient check-ins and appointment scheduling
- Answer multi-line phone systems, triage emergency calls, and route inquiries appropriately
- Maintain accurate patient records and confidential administrative documentation
- Coordinate with on-call medical staff and security personnel for urgent situations
- Process billing forms and insurance verification during off-hours
- Prepare daily reports and ensure HIPAA compliance for overnight activities
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate's degree preferred
- Minimum 2 years receptionist or customer service experience
- Proficiency with EMR systems (e.g., Epic, Cerner) and MS Office Suite
- Ability to work independently during overnight shifts with minimal supervision
- Strong conflict resolution skills for high-stress medical environments
- Current BLS/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Flexibility to cover additional shifts during peak periods
