Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 technology foresight strategy through horizon scanning and trend analysis
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-gen solutions for autonomous systems, quantum computing, and neuro interfaces
- Present strategic roadmaps to investors and board members with data-driven impact projections
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and innovation labs to pioneer 2026-capable technologies
- Author thought leadership publications on societal implications of 2026 technological inflection points
- Mentor junior futurists while building a world-class innovation ecosystem
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, R&D leadership, or emerging technology consulting
- Proven track record of commercializing futuristic concepts within Fortune 500 environments
- Expertise in at least three of: quantum computing, AI ethics, biotechnology convergence, or spatial computing
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or equivalent technical discipline
- Published author or keynote speaker at global innovation forums (TED, WEF, etc.)
- Proficiency in strategic foresight frameworks (e.g., Delphi, Horizon Scanning, Scenario Planning)
- Ability to translate complex technical concepts into executable business strategies
