Responsibilities
- Develop and implement 2026+ strategic foresight frameworks using horizon scanning, scenario planning, and trend analysis
- Lead cross-functional workshops to synthesize technological, economic, and sociopolitical signals into actionable insights
- Produce quarterly 'Future State' reports with predictive models and strategic recommendations for C-suite leadership
- Build and maintain an external ecosystem of futurists, academic partners, and industry disruptors
- Translate future intelligence into product roadmaps, investment strategies, and organizational transformation plans
- Champion innovation culture through internal thought leadership and future literacy programs
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurist role with demonstrable impact
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Expertise in emerging technologies: AI ethics, quantum computing, biotech convergence, and sustainable infrastructure
- Proven track record of developing and executing multi-year strategic plans with measurable outcomes
- Exceptional facilitation skills for executive workshops and stakeholder alignment
- Published thought leadership in futures forecasting or strategic foresight (portfolio required)
- Fluency in futures research methodologies: Delphi, causal layered analysis, and backcasting
