Responsibilities
- Develop and publish annual 'Horizon Scan' reports identifying 3-5 disruptive technologies poised for mainstream adoption by 2026
- Partner with C-suite executives to integrate foresight insights into product roadmaps and corporate strategy
- Lead cross-functional 'Future Labs' workshops with engineers, designers, and business strategists
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and research labs to track emerging innovations
- Create scenario-planning models for geopolitical, climate, and technological disruption scenarios
- Represent company at global innovation forums and publish thought leadership in top-tier tech publications
Qualifications
- Minimum 8 years in innovation strategy, futurism, or technology forecasting with Fortune 500 or unicorn startup experience
- Proven track record of identifying and commercializing emerging technologies (examples required)
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related quantitative field
- Mastery of foresight methodologies (e.g., Delphi, Horizon Scanning, Scenario Planning)
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (quantum, AI, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to translate complex concepts for diverse audiences
- Portfolio of published foresight work or strategic frameworks
