Responsibilities
- Identify and analyze global mega-trends (AI, biotech, climate tech) with 5-10 year horizons
- Develop scenario-based strategic roadmaps for 2026+ product ecosystems
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype future-facing solutions
- Author high-impact trend reports and executive briefings for board-level decisions
- Build and nurture an external network of futurists and domain experts
- Integrate foresight methodologies into corporate DNA across 15+ departments
- Represent Horizon at global innovation forums and future-focused conferences
Qualifications
- 5+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or future-focused R&D
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field
- Proven track record of translating foresight into commercial innovation
- Expertise in scenario planning, horizon scanning, and trend analysis frameworks
- Exceptional communication skills for complex technical narratives
- Published thought leadership in futurism or emerging technology
- Experience scaling foresight methodologies in enterprise environments
