Responsibilities
- Conduct horizon scanning and trend analysis to identify disruptive technologies and societal shifts impacting 2026+ markets
- Develop strategic foresight frameworks and scenario-planning models for 5-10 year business horizons
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype future-facing products and services
- Present executive briefings and stakeholder workshops on emerging opportunities and risks
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists, technologists, and industry thought leaders
- Translate foresight insights into actionable strategic initiatives and innovation pipelines
Qualifications
- 8+ years in strategy consulting, innovation management, or futurism with Fortune 500 experience
- Proven track record of developing and implementing future-oriented business strategies
- Expertise in emerging technologies (quantum computing, AGI, synthetic biology) and their commercial applications
- Exceptional systems thinking and ability to connect disparate trends into coherent narratives
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Business Strategy, Technology, or related field
- Strong data visualization and storytelling skills for complex technical concepts
- Certification in strategic foresight (e.g., CFIP) preferred
