Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a 2026 technology foresight strategy aligning with global innovation trends
- Lead scenario planning for disruptive technologies (quantum AI, biotech convergence, neuro interfaces)
- Partner with R&D to prototype and validate future-facing solutions
- Analyze geopolitical/socioeconomic factors impacting tech adoption by 2026
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Build and mentor a future-focused innovation think tank
- Monitor emerging tech patents and academic research for competitive advantage
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Technology Strategy, Futures Studies, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic planning within tech/innovation sectors
- Proven experience with horizon scanning and trend analysis methodologies
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum computing, AGI, etc.)
- Certification in Futures Thinking (e.g., CFTE, APF) strongly preferred
- Prior experience building innovation roadmaps for 2025+ timelines
- Exceptional data storytelling and executive presentation skills
- Portfolio demonstrating future-focused strategic projects
