Responsibilities
- Architect 2026 technology roadmap integrating quantum computing, generative AI, and biotech convergence
- Lead cross-functional labs prototyping breakthrough solutions for climate resilience and human augmentation
- Establish ethical frameworks for autonomous systems and neural interface technologies
- Partner with VCs to identify emerging startups for strategic acquisitions
- Deliver quarterly futurist briefings to C-suite and board members
- Manage $5M+ innovation budget for experimental technology incubation
- Represent Nexus at global tech summits (Davos, Web Summit, CES) as thought leader
Qualifications
- 15+ years in strategic technology roles with demonstrable impact on 5+ year roadmaps
- Deep expertise in at least three emerging tech domains (quantum, AI, synthetic biology)
- Proven experience launching products with >$100M revenue from concept to market
- Published futurist research or patents in exponential technologies
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futures Studies
- Fluency in systems thinking and scenario planning methodologies
- Portfolio of implemented strategic initiatives with measurable ROI
- Security clearance preferred for defense-adjacent projects
