Responsibilities
- Manage patient check-in/out using EMR systems with 99% accuracy
- Handle multi-line phone system (50+ calls daily) with professional etiquette
- Schedule appointments and coordinate calendars across 5+ departments
- Maintain secure patient records and HIPAA compliance protocols
- Process incoming/outgoing mail and manage office supplies inventory
- Assist with patient registration and insurance verification
- Coordinate office events and meeting room logistics
- Support administrative team with data entry and filing tasks
Qualifications
- High school diploma/GED; Associate's degree preferred
- 2+ years receptionist or customer service experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and EMR systems (Epic a plus)
- Exceptional communication and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to multitask in fast-paced medical environment
- Basic knowledge of medical terminology
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Flexible schedule availability including occasional weekends
